The manager of the Hoot Owl Ranch approached us to design a site to feature their cattle, promote their annual sale, offer online checkout for embryos, swag, and home fed beef, as well as feature their new blog “Busting Beef Myths” created to educate the public.
We went with a very simple design to allow the cattle images to stand out and added a number of on-site extras. These included EPD’s, Pedigrees, Video for all of the Herd Sires and Donor cows, as well as a “flip book” for their Annual Sale Catalog.
The ranch changed hands and is no longer the Hoot Owl Ranch, so the website has been taken down. However, it was a very fun project and one we’re pretty proud of.
