Aulick’s TLC (The Lifestyle Center) approached us to redesign their existing website for their Spa, Boutique, Home Decor and Garden Center into something that spoke more effectively to the elegance and femininity of their target audience.

The website needed to offer an events calendar, email specials sign up integration, and integration with their existing online booking platform. We were also challenged with the task to quickly convey to their new visitors know what TLC was (there had been confusion with this previously) and showcase all they offered.

We went with soft, toned down pastels, an elegant background and trending imagery to appeal to the femininity and elegance of their target. We broke down their offerings into images and titles with click throughs to the inner pages and explained just what TLC is, immediately on the home page.

Though the owners have since decided to move on to other endeavors, this is a great example of what designing for your target audience can do to up level the experience your visitors have when on your website.
